HOUSTON -- It’ll be comfortably cool overnight and into Friday morning said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Overnight lows will be in the mid-50’s in the Houston area.

You’ll wake up Friday morning to temps in the upper 50’s. There will be a mix of clouds and sun during the day and the high for the day is 74 degrees. We’re still just below the normal for this time of year is 75 degrees.

There’s a slight chance for showers on both days this weekend.

If you’re heading out to Humble for Shell Houston Open, it’ll be mostly cloudy on Saturday. There’s a better chance for rain on Sunday. Temps will be in the upper 70’s.

There’s a 30-percent chance for a few showers on Easter Sunday. You won’t need to cancel any plans, just be aware that you may need to take cover if a shower passes by.
