HOUSTON – The weather in southeast Texas will be beautiful but chilly through the weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Early morning temps Friday were in the 40s across the Houston area. Today’s forecast high is 59 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Overnight into Saturday morning, we’ll dip into the upper-30s, and Saturday’s daytime temps will top out in the low-50s.
Sunday will be slightly warmer but still on the chilly side.
“Enjoy the cold temperatures while we have them,” said Johnson. “We’re going to quickly see some changes, and then the heat will stick around.”
By Monday our daytime temps will be back in the low-70s with another cool down expected mid-next week.
There’s no chance of rain in the seven-day forecast.
