Houston forecast: Cold Wednesday night

HOUSTON -- Most areas north of I-10 are going to get a light freeze Wednesday night.

Overnight lows in most area will hover just below or slightly above 30.

If you enjoyed the sunshine on Wednesday, you’ll love Thursday’s beautiful weather. Highs will be in the upper 50’s, with sunny and breezy conditions.

If you’re wondering if we’re seeing normal temperatures for January, we were actually 10-12 degrees below normal on Wednesday.

As we look at the extended forecast, we’ll have a spectacular stretch of weather for the next seven days. You can expect cold mornings, cool afternoon, and plenty of sunshine.
