HOUSTON – It is going to be a cloudy Easter weekend, but don’t worry, if any rain falls it won’t be enough to ruin any outdoor plans, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Saturday morning kicked off with lows in the 60s and highs are expected to top off with temps in the upper-70s. It will be a cloudy and overcast day, with a 20-percent chance for rainfall.
The best chance for rain this weekend comes Sunday evening and some of the northern parts of our viewing area could see thunderstorms.
We’ll have a cloudy start to Easter Sunday. By 5 p.m., the storm system moves in and the northern counties could have a thunderstorm or two.
Our spring-like weather continues on Monday with an afternoon high of 80 degrees.
But the cold weather returns Tuesday through the end of the work week with high temps in the 50s and 60s and lows in the 40s.
