HOUSTON -- We may have some rough weather over the next couple of days, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul. There’s a storm system moving in and the sun that we had on Tuesday is gone for a few days.

Overnight into Wednesday morning, temps will dip into the upper 40’s and low 50’s in the northern parts of our viewing area. Temperatures will be in the mid-50’s for areas from Houston to the coast.

Expect it to be cloudy and cooler on Wednesday. Pockets of light-to-moderate rain will develop in the afternoon.

Severe storms are possible on Thursday, especially from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. We could see large hail, straight-line winds, and isolated tornadoes are also possible.
