HOUSTON -— Thursday will stay cloudy and cool most of the day as our chance for rain increases heading into the weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“It’s another cold start to the day, we had 30s for most of you heading out the door this morning,” said Johnson. “We’re tracking another front that’s going to arrive early Friday morning that will increase our rain chances.”
Our temps Thursday will top out in the mid-50s under partly cloudy skies with a 20-percent chance of rain.
Friday morning we have an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m. as a front moves through town. There’s a 50-percent chance of rain early in the day Friday as temps top out around 68 degrees.
This weekend looks great with mostly sunny skies and temps in the upper-50s.
Next week we have another good chance for rain starting Monday, which means the start to our new year will likely be a wet one. Be safe, friends.
