HOUSTON -- There’s a slight chance of sleet in the northwest counties between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Overnight into Tuesday, most areas will be above freezing. There’s a northeast wind of 5-10 mph, so the wind chill is making it feel colder outside than it really is.
A band moving across the Houston area will bring light rain early Tuesday morning. Areas north of Conroe may see a rain/sleet mixture.
Temperatures will struggle to reach the mid-40’s Tuesday afternoon. There’s also a 30 percent chance of rain.
On Wednesday, there’s a 40 percent chance for rain. Lows will continue to be in the low 30’s and highs will be in the 50’s
For those who are ready for the sun, sunshine returns towards the end of the work week.
