HOUSTON -- The Houston area shouldn’t see an overnight freeze, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

We’ll have a light south breeze as we head into Friday morning.

Areas to the north will have overnight lows in the upper 30’s. On Friday, expect temps to be in the 60’s and sunny skies.

In our southern counties, overnight lows will hover around 40 degrees. Afternoon highs will reach 70 degrees.

It’ll be chilly and windy on Saturday. The forecast is calling for a high temp of only 57 degrees and a north wind of 15 mph.

Looking to Sunday, we could see a light freeze early in the morning.
