HOUSTON – Early morning temperatures across most of the Houston area were in the low- to mid-30s, making for a light freeze overnight.

This afternoon our temperatures will top out around 60 degrees under sunny skies, but we're not done with the cold temps yet. Overnight into Saturday morning we'll be back in the 30s.

Saturday will also be sunny with a chilly start and afternoon temps in the upper-60s.

On Sunday we’ll introduce a chance for rain that lasts through Tuesday, making for a wet Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Temperatures early next week will be in the 70s, but by Wednesday the daytime temps will be in the 50s.

Have a great weekend!
