HOUSTON -- It’ll be a nice and cool February evening, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. We’ll have a chilly start to Wednesday before the sun comes out in the afternoon.

Overnight lows will be in the lower to mid 40’s in the Houston area. Areas near the coast could have a little drizzle or mist early Wednesday morning.

The sunshine returns Wednesday afternoon, but highs will struggle to reach the low 60’s.

We’ll have a chilly start to Valentine’s Day. It’ll be 39 in the morning and the high will only reach 68.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we could have a light freeze Sunday morning.
