HOUSTON -- Gusty winds from overnight calmed down as the sun came up, leading us into a breezy and cool Tuesday afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

“We are going to notice some breezy winds," said Johnson. "Temperatures, however, because of the clear skies are cooling down. They are cooler than yesterday.”

The forecast high is 65 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Looking at the seven-day forecast, the sunny weather continues heading into next week with no chance for rain.

Daytime temperatures dip into the low-60s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Some northern counties could experience a light freeze in the overnight hours.
