HOUSTON—Temperatures will remain on the chilly side as a chance for rain lingers over the Houston area for the next few days, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“There’s a chance for showers today, tomorrow, and Wednesday,” said Johnson. “It stays chilly pretty much through Friday, and then we have a nice weekend forecast under partly cloudy skies, a little bit more of that sunshine and then temperatures return to the 60s.”
Temperatures Monday were in the 40s. There’s a 30-percent chance for rain Monday with a forecast high of 47 degrees.
“It’s going to be a cold day and tomorrow some more,” she said. “If you love the chill you’re going to enjoy the next couple of days.”
On Tuesday the rain chance remains at 30-percent. On Wednesday it goes back down to 20-percent.
Daytime temps this week will remain in the 40s and 50s, warming slightly heading into the weekend.
