HOUSTON -- Gusty winds from overnight will calm down as the sun comes up, leading us into a breezy and cool Tuesday afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
A wind advisory was set to expire at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
“We have clear skies out the door this morning,” said Johnson. “We are going to notice some breezy winds. Temperatures, however, because of the clear skies are cooling down. They are cooler than yesterday.”
The forecast high is 65 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Looking at the seven-day forecast, the sunny weather continues heading into next week with no chance for rain.
Daytime temperatures dip into the low-60s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Some northern counties could experience a light freeze in the overnight hours.
