HOUSTON -- The radars are showing light rain and drizzle in some of the areas to the north, but most of the precipitation is not reaching the ground, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul
Overnight, temps in the northern counties will be just above freezing. In the southern counties, temps will be in the mid-30’s.
On Saturday, you’ll wake up to temps in the upper 30’s. A north wind will blow throughout the day and the temperature will only reach 57 in the afternoon.
On Sunday, the morning will start with temps in the mid-30’s, but conditions will rebound and it’ll be sunny with a high of 65.
The extended forecast calls for rain on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. There’s a 40-percent chance for showers on Monday. A thunderstorm or two is possible.
