HOUSTON -- Temperatures will be 10-15 degrees below normal on Thursday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul. The day will start off with breezy and cloudy conditions.
A line of showers moved through the Houston area Wednesday night, but it did not produce the severe weather that we had the night before. The weakening thunderstorm should move off the coast by 11 p.m.
It will be chilly Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Overnight lows in the northern counties will be in the upper 40’s near Huntsville and Conroe, while the rest of the areas north of downtown will be near 50 degrees.
To the south, temps will be in the low 50’s overnight.
You’ll wake up Thursday morning to breezy conditions. During the day it’ll be chilly as a wind of 10-15 mph blows from the north. The high temp for the afternoon is 65 degrees.
After another chilly start Friday morning, we’ll have a slight warm up this weekend with highs near 80 on Saturday and Sunday.
Our next chance for significant rainfall is Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. There’s potential for severe weather with that storm system.
