HOUSTON -- It’s going to be a sunglasses and t-shirt kind of weekend, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. The weekend forecast looks great!

Before the weekend arrives, most of our northern counties will be in the mid-30’s overnight. Conroe is the only place that could have a light freeze.

In our central and southern counties, temps will be in the mid-to-upper 30’s overnight and into Friday morning.

Kids will need a coat one their way out the door Friday morning.

The high for Friday is 68.

Saturday through Monday we’ll have partly-sunny skies with highs in the low 70’s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40’s.

The forecast calls for a slight chance of rain Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the 50’s and afternoon highs will be in the low 70’s.
