HOUSTON — Wednesday should be sunny and beautiful, but it will remain on the chilly side, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

Gusty winds with temps in the low-30s were reported in the early morning hours across the Houston area.

“After a cold start, we are going to see mostly sunny skies today,” said Johnson. “However with our breezy conditions out of the northwest, it’s still going to feel pretty cool out there.”

Wednesday afternoon our temps will only top out in the upper-40s before dropping back into the 30s overnight.

On Thursday we’ll stay in the 30s until sunrise and will only top out around 55 degrees in the afternoon.

Friday a chance for rain returns as another cool front moves through, bringing us the greatest chance for rain starting around noon.

This weekend looks beautiful with temps in the 50s.
