HOUSTON -- Areas near Galveston Bay will have patchy fog overnight and into Friday morning, said KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul. Winds out of the south should mix the air to prevent thick fog.

Overnight lows in the Houston area will be in the upper 50’s in the areas to the north, while southern and central spots will be in the low 60’s.

Our great spring-like conditions will continue through the weekend and into next week. Afternoon highs will be in the low 70’s Friday through Monday.

The next cold front moves in on Tuesday, and we’ll have a 40-percent chance of showers.

Once the front clears out Wednesday evening, the temperature will drop into the low 60’s.
