HOUSTON – The Houston area can expect another hot, humid day on Thursday, though rain chances will taper off a bit.
"I think we will see less of those afternoon showers and more heat and humidity," said 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman. "The forecast shows a high of 93 after reaching 89 by noon. Only a 20 percent chance of isolated showers [on Thursday] towards the end of the day."
Rain chances will climb back to 50 percent on Friday, but the storms will probably clear out by Saturday and Sunday, Norman said. High temps are expected to hover around the low-90s through the end of the week.
