HOUSTON— It’s going to remain warm and muggy Wednesday, 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.
“Seventy-six degrees starts the day and there may be some coastal showers early on, so keep your umbrella handy,” he said.
We’ll see more showers moving in from the coast and that should keep temperatures down as the high temperature reaches 87 degrees by noon, Norman said.
“We’ll spend most of the day in the upper 80s, but still feeling pretty muggy,” he said.
The seven-day forecast shows the hope for a front that may arrive by Friday, which could give us another chance for rain heading into the first half of the holiday weekend.
Out at sea, Hurricane Earl has grown to a Category 4 storm. It's not expected to directly hit land, but forecasters say it's going to create some dangerous surf for the East Coast. Track all the latest storm developments on khou.com's Hurricane Central.
