HOUSTON—Get outside and enjoy the nice weather on Friday, because you might need to pull out those umbrellas this weekend, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.
Friday kicked off with a little patchy fog, but the day is expected to clear up quite nicely later on.
“We are on practically repeat from yesterday as far as our temperatures go,” Johnson said.
Lows began in the 60s and 70s, and highs are expected to top off in the mid-90s. Again, like yesterday, there is a 20-percent chance for rain, but it should not put a damper on anything you have planned today.
But this weekend, the rain chances increase. Tropical activity out in the seas will start to drift inland and, beginning tomorrow evening through Tuesday, there is a chance for widespread rain.
Rain chances will be at 40 percent on Saturday, 60 percent on Sunday and Monday, and 50 percent on Tuesday.
