HOUSTON—The rain chance continues to dwindle on Tuesday as our daytime temps remain in the mid-90s, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
“Maybe an isolated shower here and there, but not nearly the rain we had on Monday,” he said. “There’s only a 20-percent chance for a stray shower.”
By this weekend our skies will be sunny, temps will creep into the upper 90s, and the chance for rain drops to just 10 percent.
Looking at the tropics, we’re tracking Tropical Storm Chantal. By this Thursday or Friday we should have a much better idea of where it’s heading, but right now its track has it heading toward southern Florida. It’s too soon to tell if it will go west into the Gulf of Mexico or east along the East Coast.
