Houston Forecast: Chistmas rain on the way

HOUSTON –  Monday will be warm and muggy heading into a chance for severe weather overnight into early Christmas morning.

There's a 20-percent chance for rain today with a forecast high of 75 degrees.

On Tuesday there's a 70-percent chance of rain, especially in the early morning hours as a cold front moves through town. We'll top out around 68 degrees tomorrow.

Wednesday and Thursday the skies will be clear and temps will top out in only the low-50s.

A chance for rain returns Friday before clearing out again this weekend with temps in the 50s and 60s.
