HOUSTON – Summer-time temperatures are likely to return by the end of the week with highs in the upper-80s, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

In meantime, Monday morning will start off with lows in the upper-50s and clear skies. The Houston area will have highs of 84 to start of the week on Monday and Tuesday.

Our next rain will probably come on Wednesday morning with a 40 percent chance of rain. After that, highs will slowly climb to the upper-80s by next weekend.
