Houston Forecast: Work week starts off soggy

HOUSTON – Showers are advancing out of the Brazos River Valley towards the Houston area bringing overnight rain just before the start of the work week, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

Brief lightning and a few showers are possible before sunrise Monday morning. The soggy weather pattern will continue throughout the work week.

There is a 40 percent chance of rain from Monday to Thursday.

Highs will stay in the low-90s for most of the week with temps peaking at 89 on Monday afternoon. Lows will stay pretty consistent in the mid-70s.
