HOUSTON – The work week will start off muggy Monday morning with a slight chance of isolated showers later in the day, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

A small group of storms will line up along the coast in the morning and could move inland by Monday afternoon. There is a 20 percent chance of rain for both Monday and Tuesday.

However, expect the beginning of the week to remain mostly dry with lows in the mid-70s and highs peaking at 96 degrees.
