HOUSTON – The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory and Fire Weather Warning due to the high sustained winds and dry conditions Monday afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
In the afternoon hours, expect to see 18 mph sustained winds with gusts up to 40 mph. We should top out around 70 degrees Monday.
Tuesday will be cooler with early morning temperatures in the low-40s and daytime temps in the mid-60s. It will be mostly sunny.
The nice, breezy weather continues the rest of the week through the weekend. Chilly temperatures move in Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
