HOUSTON – The bad weather is moving out the region, and temperatures will warm up Wednesday, but Tuesday night will be cold, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.

“We’ll see cold temperatures Tuesday night: 34 by 11 p.m., 33 by 4 a.m. and 31 degrees by 7 a.m. in the morning,” Garner said.

Wednesday morning we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures starting out below freezing.

“So keep that in mind if you’re driving out and about. If you see any puddles or wet spots on the road, they could be slick,” he said.  “We could see some more rain Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, but we don’t expect, at this point, anything wintry.”

Wednesday afternoon will have partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the low 50s.

The rest of this week is looking nicer with partly cloudy skies and daytime temps in the 60s and 70s through the weekend.
