HOUSTON — Expect warm and steamy weather for the next week as tropical moisture continues to move in from the Gulf, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Despite the scattered showers from this weekend, the Houston area is still facing an 11-inch rainfall deficit for this point in the year. This week, expect to see some daily showers with all the moisture in the air.
To start, some isolated showers will likely reform Monday morning along the coast. There is about a 30 percent chance for rain Monday, which will remain steady for the first half the week.
Temps will in the mid-70s for the morning commute before heating up to the low-90s in the afternoon.
