HOUSTON – It’ll be warm and sunny for the start of the workweek in Southeast Texas, but big changes are on the way in a few days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist.
“We’re going to continue to see the clouds break apart,” said Johnson. “By this afternoon we’re topping out in the mid- to upper-70s. We should be in the 60s this time of year, so we’ll still be about 10 to 12 degrees above average.”
Chita said the record high at Bush Airport for today is 84 degrees, so while it will be warm today, we won’t be setting any records.
Tuesday and Wednesday will also be warm.
Thursday a chance for rain moves in as the temperatures start to drop.
It’ll be rainy Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as daytime temperatures drop to the 40s and 50s and overnight lows go back down into the 30s and 40s for next week.
