HOUSTON – The heat will not be letting up anytime soon after our first 90-degree weather weekend, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

Overnight temperatures will be warm again with lows on the low-70s for most of the Houston area. Highs for Monday will peak at about 90 degrees, but don’t let that fool you. With the humidity, the heat will feel more like 95, so be sure to stay hydrated if you have to spend an extended period of time outdoors.

The Houston area could see some rain Tuesday afternoon as more moisture comes up from the Gulf. There will be a 20 percent chance of rain that afternoon and a 30 percent chance on Wednesday and Thursday.
