HOUSTON – The heat returns on Tuesday morning, and there is no chance for rain, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Temps kick off at 77 degrees on Tuesday morning and top off at 97 degrees. It will be hot and muggy.
“We’re searching for rain chances, but don’t hold your breath,” Paul said.
The forecast calls for sunny skies and hot temps in the afternoon hours the rest of this week. We will near 100 degrees on Thursday and Friday.
"It's full blown summer," Paul said.
Looking to the Atlantic, what’s left of Dorian has a 30 percent chance of reforming back into a tropical storm. If it does, it will retain the name Dorian. Its forecast path has it moving toward Cuba over the next several days.
