HOUSTON -- It'll be muggy and hot the rest of this week with a rain chance returning early Friday morning, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Temps kick off Thursday morning in the mid-70s and top off at 94 degrees.
By Friday a 40-percent chance for rain returns, but it won’t bring us much relief from the heat.
“It starts early Friday morning around 1 a.m.,” said Paul. ‘Only certain parts of the viewing area in the north and east quadrant will get hit.”
The rain chance drops on Saturday and goes away entirely by Sunday.
We’ll have a nice mix of sun and clouds through the weekend and heading into next week.
