HOUSTON – The warm, muggy weather will continue Monday afternoon with mostly cloudy skies, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

Temperatures will peak at about 82 degrees later today with a 20 percent chance of rain. There is a small chance that there may be some isolated showers due to the moisture build-up on Monday.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be just like Monday – warm and muggy with a slight chance for rain.

Thursday the rain chance goes up to 30 percent as a cool front moves through, dropping our daytime temperatures into the mid-70s.

Early Friday morning our temperatures will be in the low-40s, and in the afternoon we will top out about 69 degrees.

The skies will be nice and sunny Friday through the weekend.
