HOUSTON – The warm and muggy weather will continue Monday afternoon with the humidity making it feel about 3 to 4 degrees warmer than what the thermometer says, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

The winds Monday and Tuesday will be at about 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph under mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will peak at about 84 for most of the Houston area.

On Wednesday, temperatures cool slightly as a 20-percent chance for rain is introduced into the forecast. On Thursday, there is a 60-percent chance for rain as a cool front moves through.

On Friday the sun returns, and our daytime temperatures will only top out in the upper-60s. This weekend will be sunny and in the mid-70s.
