HOUSTON –- There are no big surprises in Friday’s forecast as it will be another warm and muggy late-spring day across the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There will be a few clouds in the sky, but it will be mostly sunny.
“We wake up to about 74 degrees at 6 a.m.,” said Garner.
A slight warming trend will continue, putting us in the low-90s, but our “feels-like” temperatures will be even warmer.
“We’ll see 90 degrees by 3 p.m.,” said Garner
More clouds and a chance for rain return next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
We are keeping an eye on the Bay of Campeche where there’s a 30-percent chance for tropical development. Johnson says even if a storm does develop, it’s highly unlikely that it will impact any part of the Texas coast.
Reminder: summer officially begins at 5:51 a.m. Central time on Saturday, June 21.
