HOUSTON – We are getting a little break from humidity for now, but it will return for the weekend, according to KHOU 11 Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

“Humidity will be low throughout the day into tomorrow morning,” said Johnson. “We do have an air quality alert for Harris, Brazoria, and Galveston Counties. If you’re a little more sensitive to that, mainly be between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., you may want to stay indoors.”

The rain chance goes away until the weekend, and daytime temps remain in the low-90s with overnight lows in the upper-60s and low-70s.

There’s a 20-percent chance for rain Saturday and a 40-percent chance for rain Sunday.

Next week the rain fizzles off leaving us with a nice mix of sun and clouds to start the workweek.
