HOUSTON – Don’t take this weekend’s warm temperatures lightly and make sure to stay hydrated, KHOU Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
Although temperatures may not reach the 90-degree mark, combined with the humidity, the weather will be deceptively dangerous for those spending time outdoors in the sun.
The warmer weather will actually start on Friday with a high of 88.
“The heat-index will be above 90 Friday afternoon,” he said.
Saturday will have a high 88 as well and Sunday will be a little warmer at 89. Some parts of the Houston area could break the 90-degree barrier.
Enjoy the warmer weather, but make sure to stay hydrated and to take breaks from the heat.
