HOUSTON — Tuesday evening will be a warm with a chance for scattered rain as a cool front approaches, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

There’s a chance for scattered rain this evening with temps still warm in the mid-70s.

As a cold front moves through the Houston area overnight Tuesday into Wednesday there will be a slight chance for thunderstorms.

“I think the front will impact Houston around midnight,” Paul said.

There’s a 40-percent chance for rain Wednesday with a “cooler” forecast high of 72 degrees.

Daytime temps remain in the mid-70s through the weekend, and a slight chance for scattered rain lasts until at least Saturday.
