HOUSTON – It’s no longer chilly out, but don't get too used to the warm weather, says KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There’s a slight chance for rain today with a forecast high of 74 degrees. Saturday is also warm with a rain chance.
“Friday and Saturday will feel like springtime in the Houston area, but don’t put away those jackets yet,” said Gomez. “
A disturbance moving in from the west coast will give us a better chance for rain, especially on Sunday and then again on Tuesday.
Daytime temps will drop back into the 60s on Sunday and then in to the 50s on Monday. Overnight lows next week will be in the mid-40s.
After Tuesday, the skies will clear up leaving us with cool afternoons and cold overnight lows.
