HOUSTON -- It feels like early summer in the Houston area as temps stay in the 80s, but we have a cold front on the way early next week.
Temps kick off Thursday morning in the high-60s and top off at 85 degrees.
Friday will be sunnier with slightly warmer conditions.
KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul says this weekend will be downright warm as we approach our first 90-degree temps of the year.
Early next week a cool front will drop the temperatures a little and bring a slight chance for scattered rain.
By next Tuesday our daytime temps will drop into the low-70s, bringing a little relief before the summer sizzle.
