HOUSTON – What better way to start off opening day for the Houston Astros than with warm, breezy weather.
KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said the roof will be open at Minute Maid Park as the team hosts the New York Yankees in their season-opener.
Temperatures will start off cool Tuesday morning with lows in the upper-50s for most of the Houston area. Galveston is likely to see some fog roll in the next few days along with the breeze.
Expect to see highs in the upper 70s again under mostly clear skies. By Wednesday, we could see high reach the low-80s.
Enjoy the pleasant spring weather while it last. Rain is expected to return on Thursday and run through the weekend when a chance for thunderstorms increases.
