HOUSTON – The area is set for another unusually warm afternoon as highs reach the upper-70s, which will also carry over into the weekend, KHOU 11 News Chita Johnson said.
There will also be a higher level of humidity as winds out the southeast shift bringing more moisture to the area.
This weekend the above average highs will stay in the upper-70s and low-80s with the lows still in the mid-60s.
But late Sunday afternoon that will all change with a cold front that will shift highs to the mid-50s for the early part of next week.
There is a 60 percent chance of rain on Sunday as the front makes its way through the area.
