HOUSTON –- Most of Tuesday’s early-morning rain stayed south of I-10, but KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson says more widespread scattered showers are possible this afternoon.
“Because of the rain it is going to be steamy out there,” said Johnson. “There’s a 40-percent chance for rain today, but keep in mind many of you won’t see any showers. For those who do, be aware some of these could be heavy downpours.”
We’ll top out around 88 degrees Tuesday, and a chance for scattered showers continues the rest of the week.
By Sunday a cool front will have moved through the area, dropping our humidity and leaving us with temperatures in the upper-50s and low-60s in the early-morning hours.
