Houston Forecast: Warm Monday evening

HOUSTON — The start of the work week has been the hottest day of year so far, but cooler temperatures are around the corner, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

Temperatures will cool off a bit this evening after a high of 90 Monday afternoon. Expect to see temps in the upper-70s later tonight.

Overnight lows will get down to the mid-60s making for a pleasant start to Tuesday.

Tuesday, we’ll top out around 88 degrees, but starting Wednesday our daytime highs will only reach about 80 degrees.

Overnight lows later this week will be in the mid-50s.

The upcoming weekend is looking really nice with mostly clear skies and daytime temps in the low-80s.

Early next week the temperatures will start to rise once again.
