HOUSTON -- It will be warm and humid again Monday afternoon with a chance for scattered rain, but some pleasant changes are on the way, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There’s a 30-percent chance for rain today with a forecast high of 86 degrees. Unlike Sunday, most of the rain will be isolated.
Tuesday there’s a 30-percent chance with highs in the mid-80s as well.
On Wednesday the rain chance jumps as a cool front arrives.
“The nice thing is, we’re talking about a cold front moving in,” said Johnson. “Starting on Wednesday, we have a cold front that will pass, and that will provide a cooler end to the week. So finally getting temperatures to, not even where they should be, but below average for this time of the year. So that’s something to look forward to.”
Scattered rain continues the rest of the week, but we’ll head into the weekend with daytime temperatures in the mid- to upper-80s and overnight lows in the 50s and 60s.
