HOUSTON – Thursday morning will be hot and steamy with only a few clouds in the sky, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
An upper-level high pressure system is keeping us dry in southeast Texas. Thursday morning temps are hot and muggy at 76 degrees.
"I do not expect that you need to pop that umbrella tomorrow," Paul said.
Temps nearly reach 100 degrees on Thursday afternoon.
The rest of this week we'll still be mostly sunny and dry, but there is a slight chance for showers over the weekend.
Looking to the Atlantic, what’s left of what was Tropical Storm Dorian has pretty much gone away. If it had held together it would have likely gone to the central Gulf, but it would have not come to Houston.
