HOUSTON -– Thursday will be hot and mostly sunny across southeast Texas thanks to an upper-level high pressure system.
“Today will be two to three degrees hotter than yesterday, even in the early morning hours,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Our forecast high this afternoon is 98 degrees with winds around 12 mph.
The afternoon temperatures stay hot through the weekend, but there is a slight chance for isolated showers starting on Saturday. Our rain chances peak at 20 percent on Monday and Tuesday.
