HOUSTON – Scattered rain and storms will continue to push through the Houston area early Friday and into the afternoon hours.
Some of Thursday night's weather was severe, dropping hail in the Conroe area along with several inches of rain just north of Crosby.
As of 4 a.m. Friday, heavy downpours were reported in Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties.
There's a 30- to 50-percent chance for rain through Sunday with high temps in the low-90s.
The skies start to clear up next week as daytime temps stay in the low- to mid-90s.
