The thunderstorm is moving slowly through the area at 15 mph and is heading northwest. The storm should clear out by late this evening.
The chance for rain returns Tuesday as a weak boundary line coming in from the northwest could bring scattered thunderstorms to the Houston area. There a 30 percent chance of rain tomorrow.
Overnight temperatures will drop down into the mid-70s again, but will back up in the mid-90s on Tuesday.
